Esa ma\u00f1ana, se reconoci\u00f3 las aportaciones personales y profesionales de Don Jose R. (Pepe) Criado C\u00e9spedes en el desarrollo de la Zona Libre del Sur (ZLS).<\/p><p>Pepe, villalbe\u00f1o por nacimiento y ponce\u00f1o por adopci\u00f3n sirvi\u00f3 y aport\u00f3 en varias organizaciones en la Ciudad Se\u00f1orial. Entre estos, fue Presidente de la Junta de Directores de la ZLS. Particip\u00f3 activamente en varias de las conferencias anuales de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Zonas Francas de Iberoam\u00e9rica (AFZA) y de la National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ).<\/p><p>Pepe falleci\u00f3 hace unos meses y la Junta de Directores decidi\u00f3 nombrar el Sal\u00f3n de Conferencias de la ZLS a su memoria. A la actividad asistieron su viuda, Do\u00f1a Josefina y su hija Mary Jo. Adem\u00e1s, varios miembros actuales y ex miembros de la Junta, as\u00ed como algunos ex presidentes de la ZLS.<\/p><p>Do\u00f1a Josefina devel\u00f3 una foto de Pepe y su hija agradeci\u00f3 el reconocimiento a su padre. A Pepe y su familia, gracias por su labor, consejos y acompa\u00f1amiento en la Junta de Directores de la ZLS.
